Keep in mind handmade items are just that, handmade. Each piece is handcrafted by the artist and no two will be the same. Each piece will have characteristics that vary. Sterling silver will at times have patina or tarnish that we leave intact for the added character. Shades of turquoise will always vary being a natural stone. Pictures of items and shades of color in person can vary due to color settings in computer/phone screens.

Shipping & Store Policies

We have designed the most fair and transparent store policy we can for our customers. Read the following sections to find out more about how we ship and exchange items. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

RETURNS:
Tee's, clothing, can koozies, bags and weekenders are not returnable and are FINAL SALE.
We accept returns for store credit or exchange only on all jewelry. We do not issue refunds. You have 3 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it for store credit. The received date is established by your USPS delivery date.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Your item must be in the original packaging and returned with a tracking # within 3 days of it being delivered. Once returned you will have store credit in the amount of your purchase minus shipping fee's. Store credit expires 3 months from the date it was issued. To avoid the need for exchanges at all we are always happy to send additional pictures and information if you need before making a purchase to ensure you get something you love. Returns that come in after the above 3 day return window are subject to a 10% restocking and cleaning fee.
In the event that a piece of jewelry breaks or an inlay comes out or is loose, in the first 30 days of wear we will exchange for the same item if it is available/issue store credit once the broken item is returned.

SHIPPING:
We ship within the USA as well as worldwide! Shipping is through USPS and comes with a tracking #. You can choose 1st class shipping for $4.50 or Priority $8.50. Orders are usually sent out within 4 days, sometimes longer due to larger order volume.
If you want insurance or signature confirmation for added protection in the event of a mishap like a missing, delayed, or stolen package, these option are available for purchase with a small additional fee. Please contact us prior to purchasing to add these to your invoice. Born In The Barn is not responsible for lost, misdelivered or stolen packages once the package has been accepted by the USPS. Please make sure your shipping address is correct as all returned packages due to change of address etc will be charges additional shipping.
